Job summary

A community-focused housing organization is seeking a Multi-Skilled Joiner to join their team covering Crewe, Chester, and surrounding areas. This full-time role requires a NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent, with skills in joinery, plumbing, and plastering. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Additional responsibilities include covering out-of-hours callouts and ensuring health and safety compliance. Candidates must live within 10 miles of Crewe and hold a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven competence in joinery and various multi-trade skills.
• Experience in a customer-focused environment, ideally in social housing.
• Ability to work methodically, achieve targets, and follow procedures.
• Capable of performing physical tasks related to damp and mould treatment.

Responsibilities

• Support responsive repairs using joinery skills and general multi-skilled work.
• Cover out-of-hours callouts on a rota basis.
• Maintain a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
