Multi Skilled Engineer – Anglian Home Improvements

The Role

As a Multi‑Skilled Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our production systems. You will work across a variety of technical projects, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to reduce downtime and enhance product quality.

Working Hours
  • Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Week 2: Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Salary

£43,350 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance)

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues using hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical schematics
  • Prioritise and manage multiple competing tasks effectively
  • Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and process drawings
  • Perform fault finding and diagnostics on a wide range of machinery and systems
  • Collaborate with engineering colleagues to drive continuous improvement across both electrical and mechanical domains
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in line with safety and regulatory standards
What We're Looking For
  • HNC level qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent technical training (desirable)
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a multi‑skilled engineering role
  • Proficiency in reading and working with electrical, mechanical, and process drawings
  • Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills across both disciplines
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to technical challenges
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
