Qualifications

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Food Science, Environmental Health, or related discipline.
  • Level 4 Award in Food Safety (or equivalent).
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of UK food safety legislation and HACCP.
  • Experience in a multi-site catering or foodservice environment.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of the Food Safety Management System.
  • Conduct food safety audits, inspections, and hygiene reviews.
  • Provide expert advice on HACCP, allergen management, and hygiene.
  • Support and train catering managers in food safety best practices.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and lead incident investigations.
