About The Role

We are recruiting for a MOT Motor Vehicle Technician. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest growing motor groups. As a MOT Motor Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the MOT testing, service, repair and maintenance work for our customers' vehicles, readying them for the road ahead. Representing a variety of manufacturers and carrying out work on a diverse range of vehicles and models, you will take great pride in your work, taking complete ownership of your customers and completing your jobs to the highest standard. We are looking for candidates willing to train within the Manufacturer Franchise and aspire to progress onto Senior and Master Technician status. Average Day
  • Report to the Service Manager, meeting franchise and company standards in a service environment
  • Undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles of all types
  • Work to the highest level within scheduled times to meet company, franchise and manufacturers' standards
  • Repair, test and diagnose faults in vehicles
  • Replace components, parts, lubricants and consumables while maintaining records and providing quality write‑ups for customers and manufacturer
  • Keep your work area clean, tidy, organised and free from hazards according to Health & Safety standards
  • Advise and report on vehicle faults and servicing requirements through the Vehicle Health Check and Video process
About You
  • Experience in the automotive sector in a technical role
  • Qualified to Level 2 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and hold an MOT Testers Licence
  • Excellent communication skills and thrive in a challenging but rewarding environment
  • Can work well under pressure
  • Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification advantageous (full training provided)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Passion for automotive work
