Part time (flexible options available) up to 22.5 hours per week
£30,624 - £36,590 per annum (full time salary, will be pro-rated for part time)

Who are we looking for?
Burton and South Derbyshire College are looking for a Motor Vehicle Course Leader to join our successful Motor Vehicle Team. You will plan, deliver and assess learners on full time study programmes. Delivery can be tailored to meet the successful applicant’s skillset, as the department currently offer programmes in Level 1, 2 & 3. You will provide an engaging learning environment developing personal and professional skills, helping create the workforce of the future.
You will support the teaching team, liaising closely with the Curriculum Team Leader, Course Leaders and Technician.
You must have working knowledge and industry experience of Motor Vehicle systems and technical maintenance up to Level 3.
The role is ideal for someone looking to make a progressive step from industry in to teaching, who may not have any teaching qualifications. Or an already qualified and experienced Motor Vehicle tutor looking for a new challenge. The working hours can be flexible, discussed at interview and an agreement made on employment. In addition, due to a pattern of continued growth in the area, there is a possibility to increase the contract hours before September 2026.
