Qualifications

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience fabricating/welding with black iron and stainless-steel pipe.
  • Competent in operating hand and power tools common to the Fabricating/Welding trade.
  • Familiar with safety equipment and safe work habits.

We're an innovative, forward-thinking company with continued steady growth serving residential, hospitality, education, commercial and healthcare sectors with offices in Northern Ireland, London, Birmingham, Glasgow and the Republic of Ireland.

We are seeking an MIG Welder based in Banbridge to be part of our growing team.

| KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |

  • Read and interpret blueprint drawings provided and work from your initiative
  • To work alongside the existing team in a busy environment
  • Fabricating pipework sections as per engineer drawings to the highest standard and quality
  • Proper handling of machines and tools at all times
  • Observe or monitor objects to determine compliance with prescribed operating or safety standards
  • Visually inspect welds to determine compliance with standards
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience fabricating/welding with black iron and stainless-steel pipe
  • To be competent in operating hand and power tools common to the Fabricating / Welding trade
  • Experience using Personal Protective Equipment and have experience of operation safety equipment and use safe work habits
