A local educational trust is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Midday Assistant to enhance the lunchtime experience for pupils. This role includes supporting children in the dining hall, encouraging friendly interactions, and supervising outdoor play to ensure safety and inclusion. It is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and can bring a warm, approachable manner to the role. The position offers a part-time schedule during term time, contributing to a positive school environment.
Scale 2, Points 2 - 3 (Actual salary £3,448 - £3,502 per annum)

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Midday Assistant. This role is all about helping to create a positive and enjoyable lunchtime experience for our pupils. You will be supporting children in the dining hall, encouraging good table manners and friendly conversation, as well as supervising play outside to ensure every child feels safe, included, and happy. It’s a rewarding role for someone who enjoys working with children, can bring energy and patience to the playground, and has a warm, approachable manner. By joining our team, you’ll play an important part in making lunchtimes a highlight of the school day.
