We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join the Maintenance team in Wrexham. Reporting to the Maintenance Engineering Supervisor, the role will be at our production facility and involve the following:* Diagnosing, fault finding and repair of Medium/Heavy industrial plant and machinery.* Completing preventative maintenance checks and inspections.* Developing and implementing modifications to improved reliability of plant and machinery.* Working as a team with manufacturing and maintenance colleagues.* Ability to communicate effectively.* Working to a continuous shift pattern with necessary overtime to cover holidays.* Adherence to Health & Safety with absolute priority.* Lifting and handling plant and machinery components using appropriate equipment and techniques.**Qualifications/Experience*** Time served with EITB/equivalent Certificate of Craftsmanship.* Hydraulic and pneumatic.* Welding and brazing.* Rigging of unbalanced loads.* Risk assessment and safety awareness, guarding of machinery legislation.* High pressure steam maintenance.* MS Office or equivalent.* Ability to read technical drawings.* Minimum of BTEC ONC level in Mechanical Engineering.**The Person**Time served with experience in all aspects of mechanical maintenance engineering.Self-motivated and must appreciate the demands of a 24/7 continuous production process with a keen to get the job finished attitude.
