Job Title: Master Data Supervisor

Location: Glascoed

Salary: £40,000-41,000 dependent on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Primary activities include accurate and timely entry, review and distribution of master data, - you will be responsible for effective execution data quality
• Our Business Partners will interact with this role on a day-to-day basis so delivering a high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction is of prime importance
• Supervise day-to-day operations of the master data team, ensuring timely and accurate data entry and updates
• Implement and maintain data governance policies, standards, and procedures
• Review and approve master data change requests for compliance with company standards
• Monitor data quality, identify issues, and lead root cause analysis and resolution
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Procurement, Sales , and other business units to support data-related projects and initiatives
• Mentoring, and performance evaluations for team members
• Generate reports and dashboards to monitor KPIs related to master data performance and integrity
• Support audits and compliance reviews related to master data processes
• Drive automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance data lifecycle management

Your skills and experiences:

• Previous team management experience
• Experience in a master data management role
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices
• Data certifications (e.g DAMA)
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics; familiarity with Master Data Management tools
• Understanding of Chart of Accounts

The Finance Master Data Team

We’re seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Master Data Supervisor with a passion for data integrity and operational excellence where you will have knowledge of master data management and thrive in a fast‑paced environment where accuracy and compliance are critical. Your leadership style is collaborative and supportive, and you’re driven to empower your team while upholding high standards. The Master Data Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the creation, maintenance, and governance of master data across key business domains, including customer, vendor, employee and materials dataand finance master data which will include chart of accounts, cost centres and profit centres.
