Widnes • £32,923 (Increasing to £33,798 01 April 2026) • Permanent, Full Time (37 hours per week).

Here at Halton Housing, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician – Joiner to work across our vibrant organisation.

What You’ll Do
  • Undertake joinery repairs safely and to a high standard in properties within the Halton Housing estate.
  • Manage your van and stock.
  • Meet standards and targets for productivity and efficiency and familiarise yourself with our performance dashboards.
  • Recognise any issues you discover in customer homes, particularly regard to safeguarding and the Habitation Act.
What You’ll Need
  • Experience in a core trade, including but not limited to joinery, plumbing, plastering, painting or floor laying.
  • NVQ or equivalent in core trade.
  • Solid working knowledge of core trade with proven understanding of other trades basic functions and their relation to core>
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
