Job summary

A healthcare facilities management company in Sunderland seeks a dedicated maintenance craftsperson (Plumbing) to support plumbing and mechanical maintenance across Trust sites. The candidate will ensure effective operation of water systems and assist in compliance with health and safety regulations. Essential qualifications include BTEC/ONC, City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and relevant apprenticeship. This permanent full-time position offers a salary between £29,322 to £32,170 per annum.

Qualifications

• Essential: BTEC/ONC, City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Plumbing or equivalent.
• Completion of a recognised apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Basic numeracy, literacy and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and install plumbing, mechanical and related plant and equipment.
• Operate and maintain large-scale hot and cold water systems.
• Participate in plumber shift pattern, on-call rota and overtime.
