Job Summary

Lead & co‑ordinate the day‑to‑day activities of the Mechanical maintenance service, delivering a robust, technically strong, customer‑responsive service that complies with relevant statutory directives. Monitor and guide the staff within your team, and be responsible for external contractors completing their tasks and objectives safely and effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the production and delivery of the organisation's estates operational plans.
  • Provide operational support in the delivery of capital projects.
  • Provide line management accountability for associated staff.
  • Ensure appropriate financial, workforce and performance management arrangements are in place.
  • Lead a team to deliver high‑quality service, safe environments for patients and staff, strong financial management and statutory compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong track record of managing and delivering customer‑focused estates service at a similar level in a highly complex environment, preferably in healthcare.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Experience in managing financial, workforce and performance arrangements within an estates service.
