Maintenance Manager required for a leading chemical manufacturing company based in Manchester. The role offers a salary of up to £60,000 per year, along with an excellent benefits package—pension contributions up to 18%, 26 days' holiday plus bank holidays (rising to 30 days with tenure), and more.
In this role, you will take ownership of planning, scheduling, and overseeing all engineering activities, including Predictive/Preventive and Corrective Maintenance, facility upkeep, and modification projects. You will work across multiple engineering disciplines with a focus on optimising resources and ensuring all tasks are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.
To be considered for this position, you will need a degree in Mechanical Engineering along with experience in the chemical, oil & gas, petrochemical or high hazardous sectors. Strong leadership and management capabilities are essential, as is a sound understanding of plant design, production processes, project management, and applicable regulations and standards.
