Are You a Problem-Solver with a Passion for Engineering? Do You Thrive in Fast-Paced Environments? Ready to Join a Team Fostering Innovation? We are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic and busy team in Tiptree, Essex.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will provide technical support to all facilities and manufacturing operations, ensuring that all maintenance and repairs are carried out competently and promptly. You will service machines according to their specific requirements, provide general facilities support, and communicate effectively with internal teams to achieve practical engineering solutions. Adherence to Health and Safety regulations and maintaining a clean, tidy work area are paramount. Flexibility for out-of-hours maintenance and ad-hoc tasks will also be expected.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 07:30 am to 17:00 pm. Flexibility with working hours is essential as overtime will be required from time to time.

Maintenance Engineer Requirements
  • Qualification in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with Pneumatic systems.
  • Minimum City and Guilds or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Understanding of PLC Fault-finding, holding PLC Controls Qualification, and experience.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in addressing engineering-related issues.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety as applicable to maintenance and engineering procedures.
  • Experience in the Manufacturing business sector.
