Overview

Maintenance Electrician role at CBW Ltd covering key sites in Glasgow and Edinburgh region. This mobile Electrical Building Services Engineer position offers a salary of £40,000, a company vehicle and benefits. Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM), fault diagnosis, and reactive repairs across three designated sites.
  • Ensure all electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control panels, are functioning efficiently and in compliance with regulations.
  • Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and ensure minimal downtime for critical systems.
  • Conduct safety inspections, testing, and certification as required.
  • Collaborate with on-site teams and contractors to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out using our digital management systems.
  • Identify opportunities for energy efficiency and provide recommendations for improvements.
To be considered
  • Qualified Electrician with a recognized trade apprenticeship and relevant certifications (e.g., 18th Edition, Testing & Inspection).
  • Proven experience in building services or facilities maintenance.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel between sites.
  • Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
