Grade

A - 7.5 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks of the year)

£4,070 (pro‑rated annual salary)

Kirkleatham Hall School is a successful specialist school for children and young people aged 2 – 19 with multiple severe learning and physical difficulties and complex needs.

Recruitment Overview

The Governing Body wishes to appoint additional lunchtime supervisory assistants across the school, including permanent posts and supply cover posts.

Role Overview
  • Supervise pupils during the lunchtime break period, ensuring the safety of pupils.
  • Support the feeding of pupils.
  • General supervision of pupils in the dining hall and on the playground.
  • Provide one‑to‑one supervision of pupils.
  • Set up and clear up of the dining hall.
  • Tray and cutlery cleaning.
  • Support a range of pupils with differing special educational needs, ages 2 to 19.
  • Follow school policies for supporting pupils and liaise with other staff as necessary.
  • Report directly to the School Administrator and the School Business Manager.
  • Receive full training and induction.
Schedule

The lunchtime break is staggered across the school over an hour and a half, from 11:45 am until 1:15 pm, Monday to Friday in term time.
