Band 9 (£35,412 – £38,220 per annum, pro rata)

29.6 hours (4 days) permanent, part‑time

The Council is seeking to appoint a part time (4 days a week) permanent Licensing and Regulatory Enforcement Officer to support the Licensing team within Regulatory Services. The successful candidate will undertake a range of technical and administrative duties in relation to our specialist licensing services. As a member of a team, you will contribute to the delivery of the licensing enforcement programme and respond to complaints and other requests for services.

About You

We are looking for someone who will provide an excellent quality service to all customers, meet targets and performance standards relevant to the assigned duties in order to achieve high standards of service delivery.

You will be required to carry out inspections and investigations (both during office hours at weekends and evenings as required) and undertake other relevant activities in relation to licensing matters and provide advice as required. You must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, including maintaining accurate records, drafting reports and dealing with correspondence.

You must have a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.
