Lead Practice Nurse – Wellington Road Family Practice
Overview

Wellington Road Family Practice (WRFP) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to step into a Lead Practice Nurse at our forward-thinking GP practice based in Yate, South Gloucestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with team leadership, while playing a key role in helping the practice achieve its financial and quality targets.

We are open to various working patterns for the right person and can consider part time, full time and job share options. Working hours can be agreed and there will be an element of remote working involved. Salary is flexible depending on experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver high quality patient-facing care
  • Lead and inspire our nursing team, driving development and high standards of care.
  • Act as Infection Prevention & Control lead.
  • Manage and develop chronic disease, health promotion, and frailty programmes.
  • Support practice income achievement (QOF, IIF, LES/DES, Public Health).
  • Oversee rotas, appraisals, training, and compliance.
