Qualifications

• 8+ years in mechanical design, ideally within water or related sectors.
• Proficiency in plant layout, hydraulic design, and equipment specification.
• Chartered status (IEng/CEng) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production of mechanical design deliverables (layouts, calculations, specs, reports).
• Manage multidisciplinary design interfaces (especially P&IDs).
• Support procurement, site teams, and commissioning.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with standards, budgets, and timelines.
