Job Type(s): Part-time (28.5 hours per week) Duration: Permanent Schedule: Days (rotational shift basis that includes weekends) Hourly Rate: £12.21

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with the team are essential to ensuring clean, well‑maintained clothing and linens for residents, contributing to a comfortable and hygienic living environment.

The Role

• Ensuring that all laundry is cleaned, pressed, and returned to residents in a timely manner. This role is vital in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for our residents.
• Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing laundry such as residents’ clothing and linens.
• Inspect items for cleanliness, maintain laundry equipment, and follow infection control procedures.
• Accurate record‑keeping, responding to residents’ requests, and adhering to safety protocols are essential.
• Work closely with staff to ensure efficient service, and duties may vary over time.
• Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping is preferred, along with attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks and operate machinery safely.
