We are seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant for 22 hours per week.

What does the role involve?

  1. Assist, as directed, with the preparation of produce for meal service, including cooking breakfast items, vegetable preparation, and making sandwiches.
  2. Ensure all kitchen equipment and areas are cleaned according to schedules, demonstrating good organization skills.
  3. Adhere to statutory and Company Health and Safety Regulations.
  4. Store all dry and perishable cook-chill goods correctly and promptly after receipt and checking.
  5. Store cleaning materials safely and correctly.
  6. Thoroughly clean crockery, cutlery, and drinking vessels using the main kitchen dishwasher.
  7. Clean pots, pans, utensils, and service containers to standard and store them properly after cleaning.
