About Acast

Since 2014, Acast has been building the world’s most valuable podcast marketplace, creating the technology that connects podcast creators, advertisers, and listeners. Its marketplace spans more than 140,000 podcasts, 3,300 advertisers, and one billion quarterly listens. Crucially, those listens are monetized wherever they happen—across any podcast app or listening platform.

About the role

We’re looking for a highly driven and influential Sales Key Account Director to join our UK commercial team in London. You’ll lead strategic relationships across Publicis agencies and key UK clients. Driving revenue, shaping thinking, and championing the power of podcasts, audio, and emerging omni-channel media.

This is an opportunity for a proven media sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels in consultative selling, and has a genuine passion for content, culture, and the evolving audio landscape. You’ll inspire media agency planners and buyers while shaping how brands activate across podcasts, video, social, branded content, and emerging formats.

You’ll grow revenue across a diverse portfolio; Audio Ads, Video, Sponsorships, and Branded Content. While advising agencies and clients on the role our platforms play within broader brand and media strategies. With a strong grasp of audience behaviour, cultural trends, and media planning, you’ll lead strategic conversations that unlock demand and innovation across our offering.

This role requires commercial acumen, agility, and a goal-oriented mindset. You’ll work closely with teams across content, marketing, finance, strategy, and product, balancing consultative selling with strategic storytelling and client education.

What you’ll do
  • Deliver and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Grow revenue across audio advertising, programmatic, sponsorship, branded content, video, and integrated solutions.
  • Build and deepen senior-level relationships across media planning, strategy, and investment teams.
  • Translate brand challenges into insight-led, multi-format media solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, educating agencies and clients on the role of podcasts and emerging platforms in broader media and comms strategies.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations that inspire planners, buyers, and brand marketers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to create best-in-class, insight-driven proposals that meet client objectives.
Who you are
  • Proven experience selling into UK media agencies, with strong existing relationships.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceptional sales performance.
  • Familiarity with the programmatic audio landscape (e.g., PMPs, open exchange) and how it fits into agency trading strategies.
  • A “hunter” mindset, tenacious, proactive, and commercially driven.
  • Confident storyteller and presenter, with experience pitching complex or cross-platform media solutions.
  • Strong working knowledge of audio and digital advertising (preferred).
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine passion for podcasts and audio is essential.
