Location: Homebased / Trinity Estates – Head Office, Vantage Point, 23 Mark Road, Hemel Hempstead, Herts, HP2 7DN


Working Hours: 0900 – 17:15 Monday – Friday

Job Description

The role of Junior Remediation Officer supports the Compliance and Audit Team in ensuring that the delivery of building safety and remediation programs across Trinity Property Group’s is compliant and carried out in line with statutory requirements with statutory obligations and industry best practice. They will primarily support the Remediation Officer and Higher Risk Building Officers in the management of building safety assessments and remediation projects across TPG’s portfolio.


Key Responsibilities and Tasks Include


  • Maintain building safety policies, processes, and document control, ensuring accurate compliance data collection and reporting.

  • Oversee statutory inspections for fire safety systems, fire doors, cladding/external walls, and Fire Risk Assessments.

  • Implement and monitor remediation action plans based on statutory inspection outcomes.

  • Support communication with clients and leaseholders and provide oversight on selected remediation projects.

  • Manage document control and reporting for major remediation projects, including the fire door inspection regime.

  • Coordinate responses to safety incidents, maintain incident oversight, and elevate major risks appropriately.

  • Build and manage relationships with Fire Services, Local Authorities, and regulatory bodies.

  • Provide technical and administrative support, advise on contractor competency, and assist in preparing compliance reports.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Knowledge of building management and a strong interest in developing within building safety and compliance.

  • Ability to interpret complex information and reports, with good problem-solving skills.

  • Confident communicator capable of working with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Strong organisational, administrative, and data-management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Understanding of relevant fire-safety legislation, with desirable experience in FRAs, FRAEWs, site visits, or residential property management.

  • Educated to A-Level (minimum), with GCSE English and Maths; degree-level education desirable.
