Job summary

A leading project management organization in Manchester is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join their team. This full-time role involves assisting Project Managers with Lifecycle and Variations Project Management while ensuring that all Project files are maintained for administrative accountability. Candidates should have a good understanding of Health & Safety and experience within a project environment. Attractive benefits include 32 days annual leave and life cover equivalent to 1.5 times annual salary.

Qualifications

  • Experience within a project environment.
  • Ability to maintain project management systems.
  • Understanding of working within a PFI environment may be beneficial.
  • Facilities Management experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project managers with Lifecycle and Variations Project Management.
  • Liaise with relevant parties involved in Projects.
  • Ensure Project files are maintained for an auditable trail.
  • Procure competent Contractors for developments.
  • Monitor the progress of design, works, and commissioning activities.
  • Manage preferred suppliers and subcontractors.

Equans is looking for a Junior Project Manager FM to join our team in Manchester on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Project managers with Lifecycle and Variations Project Management.
  • Liaison with all relevant parties involved with Projects.
  • Ensure all Project files are maintained to provide a fully auditable administrative trail.
  • Procure competent Contractors for the proposed development.
  • Monitor the progress of design, works, and commissioning activities.
  • Liaison and management of preferred suppliers/subcontractors.
About You

Good Health & Safety knowledge. Experience within a project environment. Sound organisational/co‑ordination skills. Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications. Ability to maintain project management systems.

Understanding of the principles of working within a PFI environment (desirable). Facilities Management experience would be an advantage. Technical knowledge within the built environment would be an advantage.
