Join AECOM's Ground Engineering Team in Manchester, United Kingdom. We are seeking Ground Engineering professionals to join our teams here at AECOM. We welcome Geotechnical Engineers and Geologists of all levels, to bring their technical expertise and an innovative mindset to our teams across the UK.

Successful candidates must have a proven track record in the delivery of ground engineering projects in the UK and be fully conversant with the technical standards that apply. We develop projects from concept through to operation, providing engineering and construction services for large-scale projects for major rail and transit agencies. Our specialists provide analytical and strategic expertise for every stage of a project.

Qualifications

Ready to push the limits of what’s possible?

  • Degree (BSc or MSc) in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Engineering Geology, or a related field.
  • Progress towards Chartered status is advantageous but not required; the team can provide support in achieving chartered status.
  • Demonstrable understanding of current design codes, standards, and best practices in geotechnical design, with openness to new methods and innovations.
  • Proven leadership experience in similar roles, appropriate to your level, with an ability to inspire and lead teams.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK.
  • Clean driving licence
