Role Overview:

We are hiring a Full Stack Engineer to join a global team modernising architecture and building microservices for a leading financial services client. The platform processes data from multiple sources to meet regulatory and risk requirements, while leveraging AI/ML to drive automation, insights and smarter decision‑making.

Role Responsibilities:

• Contribute to developing and maintaining microservices and full‑stack applications.
• Assist in integrating AI/ML models into production systems and building data pipelines.
• Write clean, efficient code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement RESTful APIs and CI/CD practices.
• Work with global teams to deliver features and resolve issues.
• Support troubleshooting and performance improvements.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Solid foundation in software engineering and backend development.
• Experience with Java (latest versions preferred).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL).
• Basic understanding of containers (Docker) and cloud platforms.
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts and frameworks.
• Frontend development experience with ReactJS or similar frameworks.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn.

Expectations regarding hybrid working:

As a service provider and consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns with our client’s policies and expectations. Most of our clients now require a minimum of three days per week in the office, two days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
