IT Support Technician – 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £33,416 per annum WTE

Hours: 37 hours per week, worked Monday – Friday

Location: Farnham / Guildford / Flexible working across sites

We have an opening for a full time IT Support Technician for a 6-month fixed term contract, working within our friendly and supportive IT Team, based at our site in Farnham, Surrey.

This role will provide additional capacity within the IT team during a period of transition, supporting staff and volunteers across the organisation. You will deliver professional, hands‑on IT support, helping ensure our systems and services continue to run smoothly and reliably.

Working as part of a small, collaborative team, you will support a range of technologies including Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11 devices, telephony, and core business applications, responding to support requests, assisting with device setup and user onboarding, and helping resolve day‑to‑day IT issues.

About You
  • Experience working in an IT support or service desk role.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows 10/11.
  • Confidence supporting users with day‑to‑day IT issues in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A customer‑focused approach, with patience and empathy when supporting users.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
