Job description

Hamilford Design is based in London’s Notting Hill. We partner with HNW and UHNW individuals to create elegant, luxurious, and warm residential interiors, as well as memorable hospitality spaces. Our comprehensive services cover the full project journey—from conception and design stages to FF&E procurement, delivery, and installation—across a wide range of properties, from listed London residences to townhouses in New York, country estates, lakeside homes, and select commercial projects such as an iconic London hotel.

Full-time Mid‑Weight Interior Designer (5 days a week in our Notting Hill studio)

We are seeking an intelligent, capable, and driven Mid‑Weight Designer to join our studio full‑time. You must have at least 3 years of experience working on high‑end residential projects in London, with strong technical drawing skills and familiarity with luxury suppliers. Your role will involve supporting a Senior Designer, engaging in concept proposals, space planning, furniture selection, and FF&E procurement. Day‑to‑day tasks include collaborating effectively with Clients, Architects, and contractors, designing interior spaces, selecting and purchasing FF&E, and communicating design concepts. The position offers a clear path for career progression.

Full‑Time Mid‑Weight Interior Designer (5 month Fixed‑Term Contract Dec 2025 – Apr 2026)

We also require an experienced, proactive, and independent Mid‑Weight Designer to cover a period of unpaid leave for a colleague traveling in South America. You should be able to hit the ground running across several projects, handling both detailed design and remaining at the FF&E procurement stage.
