Job Title: Insight and Data Analytics Consultant

Contract Type: Part-Time (3 days a week), 10-month Fixed-Term contract (Maternity cover)

Location: London, United Kingdom (hybrid)

We seek a skilled data consultant proficient in analyzing data using tools such as SQL, Excel, PowerBI, and other related software. Your role will involve leading data analysis to generate insights and recommendations to support our consultants and client decision-making. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a natural problem-solver, highly creative, and curious. You should communicate confidently at all levels, possess a team spirit, and maintain a positive attitude. Knowledge of marketing activities from a brand or agency perspective, or with operational reporting such as procurement and HR, is desirable.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with Flock consulting teams to define and scope data analysis efforts
  • Collect, organize, summarize, and analyze data to support client projects within deadlines
  • Analyze data from various sources, including Flock tools, surveys, financial, and procurement data
  • Share insights across projects to aid consultants and clients
  • Work with the product team to improve data analysis quality, reporting, and efficiency
  • Assist data analysts with troubleshooting and QA
  • Promote best practices in data collection and analysis using Flock’s marketing taxonomy
  • Present complex data visually in dashboards and reports
  • Ensure data integrity and security
  • Manage ad hoc stakeholder queries

Essential Skills:

  • 4+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in marketing, agency, or business performance
  • Degree or equivalent, preferably in mathematics or science
  • Exceptional reporting and analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
  • Mastery of PowerBI and familiarity with other visualization tools like Tableau
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Drive for continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Ability to assess effort and describe analysis factors
  • Multitasking and prioritization skills
  • Solutions-focused mindset
  • Excellent English language skills

  • Experience with operational and financial data analysis in large organizations
  • Experience analyzing survey data (quantitative and qualitative)
