AM Sci Tech is an established commercial investment company which owns and manages commercial assets currently focussed across two large parks in Aberdeen. AM Sci Tech is part of the Hurstwood Holdings group which owns and manages over £300m of commercial and residential property across the UK.

Based at Aberdeen Energy & Innovation Parks, the successful candidate will be helping to build on the success of the parks.This is a fantastic role for a well experienced professional. We are seeking an experienced commercial property lawyer to join our senior team working on the transactional activities of the business in lettings, acquisition and sales, reporting day to day to the Asset Manager, with direct access to the business owners.

The applicant should have considerable experience working in the property industry in practise or in house or a combination of the two.

The role is full time or part time. Part time will be for a minimum of 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Provide high quality, practical and commercial legal advice to allow timely decisions to be made by the business.
• Manage external counsel effectively to ensure services are delivered within budget and to meet the needs of the business.
• Draft high quality legal documentation in a clear and concise way.
• Preferably English & Scottish law qualified, but Scottish law is a must.
• Strong people and negotiation skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional self drive
