Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, structured and organized.
• Competent problem solver who takes ownership of tasks.
• Experience in production planning or purchasing is beneficial.
• Familiarity with flow-based production principles, pull systems, and kanban concepts is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to ensure delivery dates.
• Run purchasing reports to communicate accurate data.
• Monitor low stock reports and ensure procurement activities.
• Collaborate with planning to support supply chain needs.
• Review and investigate supplier invoice queries.
• Prepare vendor monthly metrics.
• Support placing purchase orders when required.
• Support ERP data maintenance.
• Use lean methodologies to improve material flow.
• Attend supplier meetings alongside buyers.

Skills

Experience using ERP/MRP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365)

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

Data analysis skills (Microsoft Excel)

Understanding of LEAN manufacturing techniques

Strong computer literacy

Problem-solving skills
