Job summary

A community support organization is looking for a Consumer Energy Debt Support Officer to provide remote debt advice to clients experiencing energy debt. You will empower clients, negotiate with creditors, and support telephone debt caseworkers. This role requires excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, as well as the ability to engage with vulnerable clients. The position is a mix of office and home-based working across Stafford Borough and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Proven skills at working in a busy environment.
• Ability to understand written and oral information of some complexity.
• Experience engaging with vulnerable and distressed clients.
