Department Summary
The Repairs and Maintenance department supports the safety and continuous daily operations by providing routine maintenance, inspections, alterations and repairs throughout the hospital.
Performs diversified installation, operation, inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair duties for the following systems: Heating; Ventilation; Air conditioning; Refrigeration; Related control systems. Responds to calls from hospital departments requesting immediate assistance for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration problems. Is able to work independently to make adjustments and repairs to mechanical system to provide the proper environment for the facility. Receives work instruction from HVAC Forman.
Certifications:
Certification from HVAC trade school or equivalent (such as military training)
Experienced HVAC Mechanic/Technician with experience in building maintenance operations.
