Job summary

A leading energy management company in Luton seeks an HR Generalist to support human resources functions including recruitment, employee relations, and policy compliance. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree and CIPD Level 5 qualification, with previous HR experience particularly in manufacturing. Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process for permanent and temporary positions.
  • Support Managers with first level disciplinary cases and grievances.
  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives including surveys and wellness activities.
  • Manage key HR administrative tasks such as employee benefits and communications.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee data compliant with UK legislation.
  • Design and deliver training as required.
  • Manage monthly payroll.

Skills

Previous experience in an HR function, ideally within a manufacturing environment
Understanding of complex employee relations cases and appropriate resolutions
Working knowledge of UK employment law
Preferably some exposure to time and attendance systems
Demonstrated organisational and prioritisation skills
Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation
Able to manage through ambiguity in a busy environment

Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards completion
