HR Business Partner – HR Generalist

Location: London (North London)

Salary: Circa £50k – £58k + benefits

The Company

Our client is a successful operator in the environmental sector, looking for an accomplished HR Generalist to join their operational waste and energy business.

Role

As an HR Generalist you will report to the Head of HR providing pragmatic and comprehensive HR advice in a fast‑paced, operational environment.

  • Build credible relationships across employees, promoting coaching and best management practice with a commercial outlook.
  • Partner with line managers to drive cultural change, embedding a productive, supportive, and dynamic culture.
  • Support HR Generalist colleagues and collaborate on transformation projects.
  • Work with senior team on talent development and succession planning across the business unit.
  • Support the full recruitment process and onboarding of all new staff.
  • Play an active role in supporting and implementing new HR initiatives.
Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
  • Preferably CIPD HR accreditation or equivalent.
  • Experience in renewables, engineering, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, or operational business environments.
  • Solid understanding of HR processes and best practices.
  • Experience in coaching and upskilling management practices.
  • Ability to juggle changing priorities with a proactive, self‑motivated approach.
  • Experience in employee relations, recruitment, succession planning and change management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, innovative, adaptable, professional and dedicated attitude.
