The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is a well-established charity located at 20 Dumbreck Road, Bellahouston Park, Glasgow G41 5BW. The hospice provides specialist palliative care for people with a life-limiting, progressive illness, and support for their families and carers.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our Housekeeping Services Team. In this vital role, you will contribute to the delivery of a high‑quality domestic service that supports patients, staff, volunteers and visitors, ensuring our environment remains safe, clean and welcoming at all times.

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play an important part in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the organisation. You will help create a pleasant and comfortable environment where service users feel valued and well cared for.

Working under the guidance of the Housekeeping Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out a wide range of cleaning duties throughout the building, ensuring all areas are maintained to an excellent standard
  • Supporting laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding and distributing items as required
  • Assisting with equipment and stock control, ensuring supplies are well organised, replenished and safely stored
  • Working collaboratively with the wider housekeeping team to deliver an efficient, reliable and person‑centred service

We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and understands the importance of maintaining a clean and safe environment within a care setting. Full training will be provided, along with ongoing support to help you succeed in your role.
