Overview

This role drives strategic sales growth across the EMEA Hotel sector by developing and executing targeted plans for existing customers, setting and managing ambitious sales targets, and building strong relationships with senior decision-makers to foster long-term loyalty and brand visibility. The role also involves leading a team of four to achieve collective sales goals and uphold the brand’s premium positioning.

Responsibilities
  • Manage EMEA sales team to drive sales and profit in line with global hotel strategy. Define the global strategy for EMEA with the Hotel Director. Deliver sales and profit versus budget on a monthly basis and roll up to the annual target.
  • Drive and achieve area sales, margin, and overall business profitability, ensuring sustainable growth.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to maximise revenue across all accounts.
  • Monitor and analyse customer performance, identify shortfalls and implement corrective actions to improve results.
  • Lead annual budgeting processes, ensuring financial targets align with company objectives for both top line and bottom line across the EMEA hotel team.
  • Prepare, present and analyse sales and profit reporting. Maintain Account Management System (Salesforce) with up-to-date customer data, leads and enquiries. Provide strong leadership, organisation and motivation to the team and stakeholders.
  • Actively seek and build new business at individual hotel level as well as group level.
  • Become an expert in the industry for the assigned territory, build Molton Brown’s presence and brand awareness with key decision makers; establish networks with local hospitality organisations in EMEA.
  • Project management of key initiatives such as strategic development of the EMEA market, marketing initiatives, Salesforce compliance including reporting.
  • Negotiate with larger third-party groups and drive impact in EMEA for group deals.
What you will need
  • Over 5 years' experience in new business development and sales in hospitality.
  • Experience with a luxury brand selling business-to-business.
  • Knowledge of the EMEA luxury hotel and hospitality market.
  • Experience managing teams and working effectively with people.
  • Proven ability to drive sales performance through leadership, delegation and alignment with commercial objectives.
  • Ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to adapt to processes and work under pressure in a positive manner.
  • Successful track record of achieving sales goals and budgets.
