A leading sports and entertainment business in Bristol is looking for a passionate sales professional to drive hospitality revenue growth. The successful candidate will manage client relationships and identify new opportunities in the south west, while achieving sales targets. This full-time role requires excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to sales. Salary ranges from £28,000 to £30,000 per annum.
Ashton Gate Stadium is a unique sports and entertainment business with the core aim of providing integral support services to ensure the sustainability of Stephen Lansdown’s sporting group of companies which includes Bristol Sport, Bristol City, Bristol Bears, Bristol Flyers Basketball and each of their respective community charities.
Job Purpose
The primary objective for this role is to identify, nurture and acquire new matchday hospitality opportunities to drive growth and profitability within hospitality sales. The role is responsible for achieving and exceeding sales revenue targets through effective sales and marketing initiatives to optimise revenues and maximise profits. The role is focused around finding and engaging with both local and businesses across the south west to build a new business pipeline for all hospitality sales including seasonal box, seasonal restaurant, VIP matchday packages along with match sponsorship and other general matchday sales opportunities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for account managing any new confirmed business. This role will require someone who is dedicated and passionate about sales ideally with previous proactive outbound sales experience.
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum
Hours: 5 out of 7 days to include evenings and weekends
