The role involves supporting compliance management for haulage partners, conducting site visits, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. Ideal candidates will have experience in transport operations, excellent report writing skills, and a NEBOSH General or Tech IOSH certification. The role of the Health, Safety & Compliance Advisor is to support the Health, Safety & Compliance Manager with the onboarding, relationship and compliance of the third‑party haulier’s working on HS2 and other Major Projects on behalf of GRS & RSS. To support the Health, Safety & Compliance Manager with compliance and health and safety in accordance with the contract or purchase order obligations of the client. Producing necessary reports and data relating to compliance and safety incidents in line with the relevant policies, client expectations and contractual obligations. Managing client relationships and attending regular site visits, meetings and training sessions on a monthly basis to meet client expectations and assist and advise on continual improvement. Development and delivery of training may also be required for the supply chain if identified as part of continual improvement.
