Head of HTA & HEOR – UK & Ireland

UCB is looking for a Head of HTA & HEOR to join our UK & Ireland Market Access team based in Slough, UK.

About the Role
  • Lead development and implementation of tailored HTA strategies to secure optimal reimbursement and market access across the UK & Ireland.
  • Generate evidence showcasing the value of UCB’s portfolio, aligned with UK & Ireland payer and HTA requirements.
  • Collaborate globally and regionally with UCB teams to leverage best practices and optimize access outcomes for the UK & Ireland.
What You’ll Do
  • Develop and drive pricing & reimbursement strategy for UCB's products.
  • Support National Access leads in preparing HTA submissions, ensuring alignment with local requirements.
  • Ensure effective project management and delivery of HTA submissions, meeting timelines and high quality.
  • Integrate HEOR insights to demonstrate clinical and economic value in access strategies.
  • Seek collaborations and partnerships related to registries/RWE to build knowledge and generate data supporting UCB’s access strategy.
  • Develop a high-performing team of National Market Access (HTA) leads, responsible for recruitment, succession planning, onboarding and development/training plans.
Who You’ll Work With

You will report to the Head of Market Access & External Engagement for the UK & Ireland.

Because You’ll Do This
  • Higher education degree in Health Economics.
  • Deep understanding of HTA processes with a proven track record.
  • Solid understanding of medical science related to the therapeutic areas.
  • Experience in Patient Access and P&R for drugs is highly beneficial.
  • Track record of providing payer evidence, strategy, market access, HTA evaluation, value propositions and pricing.
  • Good understanding of functionality and relationships in UK & Ireland health care systems.
