A leading care provider in Leicester is seeking a Head Housekeeper to ensure cleanliness and manage the housekeeping team at a new care home. You will be responsible for leading cleaning routines, overseeing team performance, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Contract type:Full time, 40 hours per week
Rate:£12.77 per hour

About the role

Our Head Housekeeper plays a key role in leading all the daily and weekly cleaning routines of their Housekeeping Team.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • carrying out cleaning schedules with your team, including dusting, mopping, polishing and vacuuming
  • overseeing your team’s cleaning of all areas, including residents’ rooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms, kitchens and offices
  • building trust and promoting choice, dignity and independence.

You’ll put our people at the heart of everything you do – whether that’s hoovering our residents’ bedrooms or polishing their photo frames. We can guarantee that whatever you bring to the role, you’ll see great rewards.

If you haven’t worked in the care sector before, we’ll help you feel right at home from the start with our induction, buddy, and ongoing training programmes.
