Growth Manager - Developer & Product Teams (PLG) | Skippr AI | London, Hybrid | Contract | (No Agencies)

Were building AI agents that developers and product teams love and need for their day-to-day AI-first workflows. We launched our first agents in 2023 for product designers, and now were working on something new thats still under wraps. If you get excited about infiltrating technical communities, turning power users into evangelists, and engineering viral growth loops that actually work, we should talk.

In this role, you will:

  • Build our growth engine from zero - own advocacy programs, organic viral mechanics, and paid growth channels that reach developers and product teams where they actually live
  • Drive viral adoption in technical teams through GitHub, Reddit, Hacker News, Product Hunt, and the communities where developers, designers, and PMs discover new tools
  • Turn users into advocates by creating "holy sh*t" moments they can help but share with their teams
  • Engineer viral loops that make sharing inevitable - from in-product mechanics to community-driven growth
  • Run growth experiments across the entire funnel - 10+ tests per month minimum, shipping what works, killing what doesn
  • Build and scale communities where developers and product people become our biggest champions
  • Own the full PLG motion from individual developer discovery to entire product team adoption
  • Create content that spreads - technical tutorials, case studies, and thought leadership that developers actually want to read and share
  • Scale paid channels strategically - find and dominate the channels other companies ignore
  • Track everything obsessively - viral coefficients, CAC payback, user-to-team conversion rates, advocacy metrics

Your background looks something like:

  • You've scaled developer tools or products for technical teams from 0 to 10,000+ users through pure PLG motions
  • Deep understanding of developer and product team psychology - you know how they evaluate tools, what makes them share, and how adoption spreads through technical organizations
  • Proven track record building advocacy programs that turn users into evangelists (not just satisfied customers)
  • Experience with viral growth mechanics - youve engineered loops with k-factor >1 and know how to make products spread
  • Community building expertise in technical spaces - youve grown Discord/Slack communities that drive real adoption
  • Full-stack growth skills - content, SEO, paid, email, social, viral - youve done it all and know what works for technical audiences
  • Data-driven experimentation mindset - you run rapid tests, measure everything, and scale what works
  • Automation obsession - you automate everything possible, using AI agents and tools to improve growth operations week over week
  • Hands-on operator - you execute campaigns yourself, not just manage agencies

  • Know how to build authentic relationships in technical communities without being "salesy"
  • Actually use AI tools daily (Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable, Replit, n8n, etc.) and understand why developers are excited about them - and use them to automate everything you can
