Job summary

A high-growth technology services firm in the United Kingdom is seeking a Group Financial Controller (GFC) to support growth and transformation initiatives. This newly created role involves leading the finance function and enhancing financial discipline, reporting, and controls. The GFC will manage a high-performing team and drive process improvements while ensuring compliance and supporting strategic initiatives. Qualifications

• Big 4 trained (ACA qualified or equivalent) with strong technical accounting foundations.
• At least 8 years PQE with proven experience as a Group Financial Controller or similar within a PE-backed environment.
• Experience in building best-in-class finance teams to support growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own the group finance function, including managing the AP, AR, and billing teams.
• Deliver high-quality, timely monthly group reporting and management accounts.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance, and processes in line with PE best practice.
