Overview

Group Category Manager - Information Management role at MBDA. This is a senior Group level procurement position within the Digital Procurement team in the UK, focusing on technology procurement in Information Management and related categories.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-depth market knowledge, build and develop category plans, assess risks and market opportunities.
• Create short, medium and long-term procurement plans.
• Mentor Buyers to deliver complex procurement projects.
• Operate at Group level, collaborating as a business partner to achieve common goals.
• Work in an international context across diverse cultural environments.

What we’re looking for / Qualifications

• Established Technology Procurement Practitioners with experience at Category Management level in one or more of the following categories: Software (Business Software, Software Services, Integration, Projects or Engineering & Manufacturing Software), Networks & Telecoms, Cyber, AI and/or High-Performance Computing, Hardware, Back Office / Front Offices and IT Services, Data Centres & Storage.
• Or a Senior Procurement Practitioner at Group Category Management Level or in an international context willing to develop procurement in one of the listed technology categories.
• Ideally MCIPS qualified or willing to work towards MCIPS; MBDA offers routes towards MCIPS qualification.
