**Position Summary**We have an opportunity for a Graduate Test Automation Engineer to join us on a 12 month contract basis here at Samsung. This role sits within the Quality Assurance (QA) and Customer Experience (CX) department focusing on Samsung Electronics products launched in UK & EU. The team design and develop test automation tools, performing manual testing when necessary. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will design and implement test tools to support QA and CX of Samsung Electronics' products. You'll work closely with regional & global QA teams to ensure we deliver high-quality experiences and remove barriers to seamless service delivery.**Role and Responsibilities*** Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.* Collaborate with software developers and QA engineers to identify test scenarios and automate repetitive test cases.* Execute and monitor automated test suites and analyze results to identify and report defects.* Optimize existing test automation processes to improve efficiency and coverage.* Perform manual testing**Skills and Qualifications*** Graduate with a degree or professional certificate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.* Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress).* Basic understanding of programming languages* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.* Portfolio to show above requirements**Location and Hybrid Working:*** The role is based at Samsung R&D Institute in Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey, UK.* Samsung currently operates a hybrid working policy of 3 days onsite and 2 days working from home weeklySamsung has a strict policy on trade secrets.
