What You’ll Be Doing

As a Graduate Materials Engineer, you will be the quality expert for construction materials. You’ll work directly with materials such as earthworks, concrete and aggregates – testing, analysing and ensuring they meet the highest standards. You’ll work in a mixture of lab, office and on‑site environments, gaining skills in testing techniques, safety protocols and quality control.

Who We’re Looking For

Graduates with a degree in Geography, Ecology or Earth Sciences. The programme offers formal training and on‑the‑job learning, with a strong focus on career progression and growth opportunities. To be eligible, you must have a minimum 2:2 Honours degree before starting the role.

This role involves regular site‑based visits, including travel on‑site and between locations. A full UK driver’s licence is required.
