Job Description

Colliers is seeking an experienced General Manager- Business Development to lead and grow our FitoutDesign business across India. The ideal candidate will have strong industry connections, an established network across major Occupiers, and a proven track record of driving large-scale business growth in the Real Estate and Interior Design sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a national business development strategy for the Interior Design vertical.
  • Leverage strong industry connects to secure partnerships with top Interior Designers, Large Occupiers, Architects, contractors, brokers and corporate clients across India.
  • Identify new business opportunities in Commercial, and luxury interior segments.
  • Drive end-to-end business acquisition, from lead generation to closure.
  • Build strong relationships with CXOs, senior leadership teams, and key decision-makers in the real estate ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with internal design, project execution, and operations teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to strengthen market positioning.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
Requirements
  • 10-12 years of experience in Business Development, preferably in Interior Design, Project Management, Architecture, Construction, or related industries.
  • Strong, established industry network across India especially with Interior Designers, brokers, architects, and corporate clients.
  • Proven ability to drive business growth and close high-value deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with design, project, and operations teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and market understanding.
  • Willingness to travel across India as required.
Qualifications

MBA/BBA or equivalent degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Real Estate (preferred).
