We are seeking friendly and professional Front of House Staff to join our team at The White Horse, Ripon

This role involves providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and supporting daily operations within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. All positions are paid and offer opportunities for personal development.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel welcomed throughout their visit
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimise flow and minimise wait times
  • Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages in a courteous manner
  • Handle customer enquiries, complaints, or special requests professionally and promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and waiting areas
  • Assist with setting up spaces or special functions as required
  • Process payments accurately using the designated POS system
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold high standards of service

Experience
