A global petrochemical company in Grangemouth is seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to deliver accurate financial accounting services. This role includes managing a team and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards. Candidates should have experience in statutory accounting, possess strong leadership skills, and demonstrate proficiency in tools like SAP and Excel. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the provision of an accurate and timely financial accounting service for a number of UK-registered companies and component accounting of a Swiss-registered entity, covering transactional accounting, financial control and statutory reporting, ensuring these conform to Group reporting standards. This will be achieved through the direct line management of a small team including a Reporting Accountant and two Finance Assistants.

Formal Interview
Successful applicants will then be invited to interview which will consist of behavioural and technical questions. For some roles the recruitment process may also include technical testing, behaviour questionnaires and/ or a delivering a presentation.
