As Finance System Accountant you will bring your accounting knowledge to support the finance systems team in managing the financial systems and the interfaces with other systems across Registers of Scotland (“RoS”). You will support the maintenance and development of the finance systems and associated processes to meet organisational needs. You will ensure that there are robust controls in place to support the provision of accurate and timely financial information to RoS. You will train the finance team and work with colleagues across RoS to seek ways to improve and support finance systems. The post holder will be required to operate the finance system and the main reporting tools and interact with a range of other systems including asset management, banking, payment, payroll and procurement systems.
